Who I Am

Hi! I’m Vidhi, a Canadian youth mental health and wellbeing advocate. Through illustrations, speaking opportunities, and collaborating with non-profit organizations and other advocates, I aim to contribute towards attaining SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing) for children globally.

My journey towards becoming a youth advocate started when I was 12 years old, upon hearing stories about the tanking female health literacy in my hometown in India. Since then, I have committed myself to advancing this cause in unique ways that resonate with my passion for art. Currently, I run a non-profit art studio whereby I illustrate children’s/youth-related books for non-profit organizations that share my goal. I am also regularly serve as a youth panelist addressing topics such as fostering resilience for children, navigating the barriers in understanding complex research literature, and how to make academia more translatable for the general public!
